The maternal mortality rate in the United States is 10x higher than countries like Australia and England.

If you’re Black, it’s even worse.

We want to change that.

Healthcare like you have never experienced before

Familia First Health doesn’t want to treat your illnesses, we want to work with you to create a plan for your wellness. This means we will take our time to get to know you and your lifestyle. All appointments at Familia First Health are 30 minutes in length so you can be sure that we have time to address all of your needs.

What does that look like?

We welcome patients of all ages and genders, understanding that families come in various forms. We take the time to understand your concerns, lifestyle, and individual health needs, recognizing that there's no one-size-fits-all approach to health.

During appointments, we discuss your current health issues and assess your risk factors for future illnesses. Together, we create a personalized plan to focus on reducing the chances of developing health problems or chronic conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure.

We recommend annual check-ups to evaluate your health status and adjust your wellness plan as necessary, ensuring it continues to meet your needs.

Preventing disease from the start

Reducing maternal morbidity and mortality is a top priority. We will offer proactive prenatal care to anticipate and reduce the risk of health problems for you and your baby during and after pregnancy. Our team will get to know you and work with you to create a personalized plan to minimize complications.

You will meet our team of clinicians during your pregnancy, ensuring continuity of care during the birthing process and postpartum. Having familiar and trusted clinicians will provide peace of mind during this important time.

It doesn’t stop at birth

We provide postpartum care that includes seeing both you and your baby at each well baby visit. Unlike traditional care that focuses only on the baby, we continue to see you to ensure your well-being throughout the first year after childbirth.

Family medicine means we treat the whole family. Each time a family member is seen, it is an opportunity to get to know you, and your lifestyle better. This ensures that together we can create wellness plans that work for you and your family.
